A VIRTUAL TRIP TO MADURAI

 HELLO PANDAS!!

வணக்கம்

This blog is all about a single day that I spent on the grounds of Temple City (Madurai) .

Come Let's Begin...,

Here comes the first Picture of the day...

Location : New College House (Madurai)

After a long shower, I prepared myself for a Long Day.

An Historical Visit...

Location : Meenakshi Amman Kovil (Madurai)

It was a pure Bliss when you just admire the artistic view of this Gopuram.
Just say WOW and step into the temple (obviously with a mask and covid19 safety precautions).
Now just experience the Holistic ambience and the inner pleasant Aura.

Why Not a Dosa !!

Location : Gopu Iyengar's Tiffin Center (Madurai)

Who else can say NO to the flavory Ghee Roast with a Medu Vada served with three types of chutney (mint, coconut, tomato) and a cup full of Sambar....Yum Yum....

Okay Now its Digestion time..!

Location : Aulmigu Rakkayi Amman temple (Azhagar Malai)

Felt it guilty to see aged people easily climbing the steep and slope path where I hardly breathing in and out. After rushing to the temple you will set calm by the cooled water from Nupura gangai.

Meet Mr. Aandi Appan !

Location : Pazhamudhir Cholai (Azhagar Malai)

This is Temple is considered as the Sixth house from the famous sayings Aarupaadai Veedu.
Hence here comes the famous question asked by the Poetess Avvaiyar "SUTTA PAZHAM VENDUMA ILLAI SUDADHA PAZHAM VENDUMA" and so this temple was named as "Pazhamudhir Cholai".

Getting some blessings from
Mother Mary and from her son Jesus on a Easter day..
Location : Mother Mary church (Near Nayakkar Palace)

Such a quite and calm place to spend a busy evening. Nothing else to express but there is much to explore the artistic window glass paintings etc,.

Here comes Gigantic Legs of the city!!

Location : Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace

Such a Great and Insane place to admire in the middle of the city. It was the best example for me to justify that proverb that "Don't Judge a Book by its Cover" .

I say this because this was my first time to visit there. The entrance of this Palace was quite smaller and it doesn't made me feel like I'm entering into a palace but the time I step into the Palace lol I got light sprain in my neck by looking upward 180`.

Ok its time to say Good bye...
....Wait it will sure give me a GUILT feel if I'm not having a Jigarthanda....!!

Ok Pandass its time to say Good Byee.......
Meet you in my next blog 😜
